Apowersoft Screen Recorder Pro is a small Windows program that allows users to record their activities and take screenshots.

It has a simple and intuitive interface that makes setting up the dedicated parameters a breeze.

The software allows you to record in full screen mode, a custom region of the screen, webcam video streams, and only audio streams.

When taking screenshots, you have the option of hiding the mouse cursor and the program's main window.

Apowersoft Free Screen Recorder includes several image editing tools for inserting rectangles, ellipses, and arrows, as well as using a pencil and eraser and highlighting areas with different colors.

You can also embed text messages that can be customized in terms of font, size, and color, apply special effects (such as sepia, grayscale, blur, and sharpen), adjust the levels of brightness, hue, saturation, and contrast, and export the edited images to PNG, JPEG, BMP, GIF, or TIF file formats.

You can use the tool to select the audio input, create scheduled tasks, assign hotkeys for better control over the entire process, show a countdown timer before the recoding process, save videos to WMV file format, and select the video codec, bitrate, and frame rate.

During our testing, we discovered that Apowersoft Free Screen Recorder completes tasks quickly and without errors. However, because it consumes CPU and memory, the computer's overall performance may be harmed.

Overall, Apowersoft Free Screen Recorder comes with a good set of features for recording your screen activity and taking screenshots. On the downside, when it comes to video recordings, it doesn't produce very good results.
