Skip sponsors, intros, follow reminders, and other annoying segments in YouTube videos with SponsorBlock, a crowdsourced browser add-on/extension developed by a community of volunteers. Users submit when a segment occurs to the extension, and the extension automatically skips segments that it is aware of in the submission. It also allows you to skip through other categories, such as intros, outros, and subscription reminders, as well as get straight to the point with highlight.

SponsorBlock is available for use with the Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome web browsers (Chrome, Edge, Vivaldi, Opera).

As of this writing, there are currently 212,706 users who have submitted 2,502,626 skip segments, which have saved a total of 353 years and 45 days of people's lives, according to the Skip Segment Database.
