SDRecovery is a program that can help you recover data from a corrupted or erased SD card. When you realize the data is gone, the best course of action is to stop using the card and try to recover it with the tool.
Run a Deep Scan to look for files that aren't visible.
The program has an easy-to-use interface that will not cause you any problems. When the app first launches, it scans your system for SD cards; if it doesn't find one automatically, go to the Selected device area and select the correct one.
The tool is as simple to use as it appears, which means you should be able to view the contents of the SD card. If this does not happen, you should run a Deep Scan, which will help you find hidden or otherwise invisible files.
You can also use the program to make a backup of the card, which you can access using the Open Image File option. On a side note, backups are saved as IMG files, which are the only ones that the app can open.
Only FAT and ExFAT file systems are supported.
It's worth noting that the application isn't designed to work with NTFS, so if you need to recover data from a hard drive or SSD, you'll need to look into other options. Only three file systems are supported by the app: FAT16, FAT32, and EXFAT.
In the unfortunate event that your data has been erased or your SD card has failed, you can try to recover media, documents, and other important files with SDRecovery.
